How does LinkWard decide if something is phishing?
Submitted URLs are first checked against Google Safe Browsing. Anything not already flagged is analyzed by Claude (Anthropic) for phishing and social-engineering indicators. You get a risk rating and a short explanation. Results are probabilistic. Use them alongside good security habits, not as your only defense.
Do I need an account?
No. LinkWard works for free with a monthly scan allowance. Signing in with Apple is optional and is used for subscriptions and tracking your scan allowance.
How do I manage or cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings. See the Terms of Service for full billing and renewal details.
What do you do with what I submit?
Submitted content is analyzed and not persistently stored. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what we collect and retain.
